So today was the big day! At the ultrasound this morning, we found out it was a healthy baby... hold on. Even I didn't find out for a couple hours. We had the tech put this picture in an envelope and when we picked Emma up from school and went to McDonald's, she got to reveal it to us all! I envisioned laughs, smiles, joy... hmm... not exactly.
Emma burst into tears as the reality of being the big sister to THREE brothers set in. As she cried all through lunch, we reminded her how special she is to be the only girl and what a great big sister she is... and how God made this special baby and He knows just what He's doing. It'll grow on her. :)

Oh Emma! She will shine as the only girl and Im sure she will have strong "sisters" in her life elsewhere. You make great boys, so we're sure excited!
oh I got all teary-eyed just for her...I could just picture the scene. It will grow on her - and she will LOVE it someday (like in 30 years) right?

I'm stoked that it's a boy! Tell Emma that as the only girl, it just means that she gets more girl only special Emma-Sara days!

YAY! Do you realize you are almost a saint for being the mother of THREE BOYS!? I'm unsure if it's POSSIBLE to survive past 2 of them. HAHA-seriously, though-so excited for you guys!
